Narrative:
Due to the darkness and reflecting lights it is difficult to see the area in question very well. Taxiing into sna ground control cleared us from taxiway east to taxi via taxiway a to taxiway H and then to back taxi on runway 19L to taxiway J. I taxied on taxiway a and possibly cut the corner going from taxiway a to taxiway H while going to runway 19L. A ground observer on ground frequency radio asked ground control to pass on to us that we should not cut the corner at txwys a and H again. It is very dark in that area with bright lights at eye level or higher. It is very difficult to see ground lines. It is suspected that someone on the ground saw this and relayed it to our crew. Unknown until almost at the gate. More vigilance.

Title: B737-700 FLT CREW IS ADVISED THEY MAY HAVE CUT THE CORNER TOO CLOSELY TRANSITIONING FROM TXWY A TO TXWY H TO BACK TAXI ON RWY 19L AT SNA. CITE BRIGHT LIGHTS OBSCURING VISION.
Narrative: DUE TO THE DARKNESS AND REFLECTING LIGHTS IT IS DIFFICULT TO SEE THE AREA IN QUESTION VERY WELL. TAXIING INTO SNA GND CTL CLRED US FROM TXWY E TO TAXI VIA TXWY A TO TXWY H AND THEN TO BACK TAXI ON RWY 19L TO TXWY J. I TAXIED ON TXWY A AND POSSIBLY CUT THE CORNER GOING FROM TXWY A TO TXWY H WHILE GOING TO RWY 19L. A GND OBSERVER ON GND FREQ RADIO ASKED GND CTL TO PASS ON TO US THAT WE SHOULD NOT CUT THE CORNER AT TXWYS A AND H AGAIN. IT IS VERY DARK IN THAT AREA WITH BRIGHT LIGHTS AT EYE LEVEL OR HIGHER. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE GND LINES. IT IS SUSPECTED THAT SOMEONE ON THE GND SAW THIS AND RELAYED IT TO OUR CREW. UNKNOWN UNTIL ALMOST AT THE GATE. MORE VIGILANCE.
