Narrative:
During circling approach on runway 31C to land runway 22L we were given clearance to land straight ahead on runway 31C. The taxi route was therefore not briefed. After landing we were cleared to taxi via taxiway west to parking. At the corner of taxiway F and taxiway west I missed the turn on to taxiway west and started to taxi ahead on taxiway F. The first officer stated he thought this was the wrong taxiway and I stopped the aircraft. We then felt uncomfortable trying to turn back on to taxiway west without a wing walker due to the narrow txwys. A 20 minute delay occurred while we waited for a wing walker. No conflict occurred during this event. Another example of how easy it is to miss taxi routes at an unfamiliar airport with intersecting txwys.

Title: AN A320 PLT RPTS A RWY CHANGE DURING AN INSTRUMENT APCH THAT PUT THE CREW ON AN UNFAMILIAR ARPT LOCATION AND A TXWY INCURSION RESULTED.
Narrative: DURING CIRCLING APCH ON RWY 31C TO LAND RWY 22L WE WERE GIVEN CLRNC TO LAND STRAIGHT AHEAD ON RWY 31C. THE TAXI ROUTE WAS THEREFORE NOT BRIEFED. AFTER LNDG WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI VIA TXWY W TO PARKING. AT THE CORNER OF TXWY F AND TXWY W I MISSED THE TURN ON TO TXWY W AND STARTED TO TAXI AHEAD ON TXWY F. THE FO STATED HE THOUGHT THIS WAS THE WRONG TXWY AND I STOPPED THE ACFT. WE THEN FELT UNCOMFORTABLE TRYING TO TURN BACK ON TO TXWY W WITHOUT A WING WALKER DUE TO THE NARROW TXWYS. A 20 MINUTE DELAY OCCURRED WHILE WE WAITED FOR A WING WALKER. NO CONFLICT OCCURRED DURING THIS EVENT. ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW EASY IT IS TO MISS TAXI ROUTES AT AN UNFAMILIAR ARPT WITH INTERSECTING TXWYS.
