Narrative:
The amass changed the call sign (tag) on a landing aircraft. The aircraft landing was air carrier X. Upon landing the aircraft was tagged up as aircraft Y. No corrective actions taken after informing management; no diagnostic check done or maintenance performed. This could potentially be very dangerous situation if this and other pieces of equipment are just randomly changing tags on aircraft.

Title: SFO CTLR DESCRIBED AMASS ANOMALY WHEN ARR ACFT DATA TAG SUDDENLY CHANGED TO ANOTHER ID.
Narrative: THE AMASS CHANGED THE CALL SIGN (TAG) ON A LNDG ACFT. THE ACFT LNDG WAS ACR X. UPON LNDG THE ACFT WAS TAGGED UP AS ACFT Y. NO CORRECTIVE ACTIONS TAKEN AFTER INFORMING MGMNT; NO DIAGNOSTIC CHK DONE OR MAINT PERFORMED. THIS COULD POTENTIALLY BE VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION IF THIS AND OTHER PIECES OF EQUIP ARE JUST RANDOMLY CHANGING TAGS ON ACFT.
