Narrative:
As a supervisor; I am tasked to make paperwork corrections. I received a request from records. I read the instructions from records. Reviewed the paperwork; since page 2; block 3; step 1 said 2000 psi. I assumed page 3; step 2 should be north/a instead of X. I crossed out and initialed the write-up card; and left page 4 alone. Records informed me that the write-up card should be on page 4 step B-4. I argued a little about it but complied with their request. I further reviewed all of the paperwork and found out that page 2; 2000 psi is wrong; page 3 was correct from the get go; and page 4 also was correct because the maintenance for pressure oxygen bottle covers page 4. I was not going to argue with records anymore and decided that a report would resolve this whole mess; I also think that I'm not the only person this has happened to. I am also going to submit a change request to fix the B-700 maintenance tip xxxxxx; which I think is confusing all the maintenance visits. What maintenance needs to say is 'if the oxygen pressure is below 1300 psi and/or the system fails the operation check; you must comply with XXXX.

Title: A B737-700 MAINT SUPERVISOR NOTED THEIR MAINT PROCEDURES JOB CARD TO BE INCORRECT FOR CREW OXYGEN BOTTLE PRESSURE MINIMUMS.
Narrative: AS A SUPVR; I AM TASKED TO MAKE PAPERWORK CORRECTIONS. I RECEIVED A REQUEST FROM RECORDS. I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM RECORDS. REVIEWED THE PAPERWORK; SINCE PAGE 2; BLOCK 3; STEP 1 SAID 2000 PSI. I ASSUMED PAGE 3; STEP 2 SHOULD BE N/A INSTEAD OF X. I FURTHER REVIEWED ALL OF THE PAPERWORK AND FOUND OUT THAT PAGE 2; 2000 PSI IS WRONG; PAGE 3 WAS CORRECT FROM THE GET GO; AND PAGE 4 ALSO WAS CORRECT BECAUSE THE MAINT FOR PRESSURE OXYGEN BOTTLE COVERS PAGE 4. I WAS NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH RECORDS ANYMORE AND DECIDED THAT A RPT WOULD RESOLVE THIS WHOLE MESS; I ALSO THINK THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. I AM ALSO GOING TO SUBMIT A CHANGE REQUEST TO FIX THE B-700 MAINT TIP XXXXXX; WHICH I THINK IS CONFUSING ALL THE MAINT VISITS. WHAT MAINT NEEDS TO SAY IS 'IF THE OXYGEN PRESSURE IS BELOW 1300 PSI AND/OR THE SYS FAILS THE OP CHK; YOU MUST COMPLY WITH XXXX.
