Narrative:
My best recollection of the events that happened during my shift that day does not bring back any particular difficulties during the accomplishment of the multiple operations involved in the installation of the l-hand aileron. It seems that ZZZ maintenance found a discrepancy with a safety on the above mentioned l-hand aileron damper; which was installed and signed off by me. It seems quite improbable that I could have missed any safeties especially because this item had a separate signoff from the aileron installation; and the maintenance inspector was with me all the time during the accomplishment of the task. Because there is no way to ascertain that nobody accessed the area after my maintenance actions that date; there is a reasonable chance that somebody else performed some other tasks in the area and not properly documented them as required. Aircraft was undergoing a scheduled maintenance inspection in ZZZ. The discrepancy found during the inspection was corrected. The maintenance inspector that worked with me was notified and I was notified later. After that I decided to file this report to clarify the investigation. To my recollection; there were no discrepancies noticed during the installation. Because I cannot remember going through any problems during the installation of the aileron; and being myself and the maintenance inspector very senior and experienced in this kind of task.

Title: AN EMB-135KL (ERJ-140LR) MECHANIC BELIEVES IT WAS QUITE IMPROBABLE HE MISSED THE SAFETY OF AN AILERON DAMPER TO WING ATTACH BOLT WHICH HAD WORKED LOOSE AND CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE.
Narrative: MY BEST RECOLLECTION OF THE EVENTS THAT HAPPENED DURING MY SHIFT THAT DAY DOES NOT BRING BACK ANY PARTICULAR DIFFICULTIES DURING THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE MULTIPLE OPS INVOLVED IN THE INSTALLATION OF THE L-HAND AILERON. IT SEEMS THAT ZZZ MAINT FOUND A DISCREPANCY WITH A SAFETY ON THE ABOVE MENTIONED L-HAND AILERON DAMPER; WHICH WAS INSTALLED AND SIGNED OFF BY ME. IT SEEMS QUITE IMPROBABLE THAT I COULD HAVE MISSED ANY SAFETIES ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THIS ITEM HAD A SEPARATE SIGNOFF FROM THE AILERON INSTALLATION; AND THE MAINT INSPECTOR WAS WITH ME ALL THE TIME DURING THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE TASK. BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY TO ASCERTAIN THAT NOBODY ACCESSED THE AREA AFTER MY MAINT ACTIONS THAT DATE; THERE IS A REASONABLE CHANCE THAT SOMEBODY ELSE PERFORMED SOME OTHER TASKS IN THE AREA AND NOT PROPERLY DOCUMENTED THEM AS REQUIRED. ACFT WAS UNDERGOING A SCHEDULED MAINT INSPECTION IN ZZZ. THE DISCREPANCY FOUND DURING THE INSPECTION WAS CORRECTED. THE MAINT INSPECTOR THAT WORKED WITH ME WAS NOTIFIED AND I WAS NOTIFIED LATER. AFTER THAT I DECIDED TO FILE THIS RPT TO CLARIFY THE INVESTIGATION. TO MY RECOLLECTION; THERE WERE NO DISCREPANCIES NOTICED DURING THE INSTALLATION. BECAUSE I CANNOT REMEMBER GOING THROUGH ANY PROBS DURING THE INSTALLATION OF THE AILERON; AND BEING MYSELF AND THE MAINT INSPECTOR VERY SENIOR AND EXPERIENCED IN THIS KIND OF TASK.
