Narrative:
After arriving at the gate in ZZZ from flight ZZZ1 I noticed that there was a portion of the left engine cowling missing (front-upper portion by the spinner) and a small area of damage on the trailing edge of all 4 blades of the propeller near the root. There were no in-flight indications that anything was abnormal. The flight itself was uneventful. Dispatch; maintenance and a chief pilot were notified. Appropriate entries were made in the maintenance manual! I believe that a portion of the cowling became partially unattached and was bent up into the wind enough that it was hit by the propeller blades. Continue to perform proper preflight/postflt and daily inspections by flight crews and maintenance personnel.
