Narrative:
Flight cleared to abc; XXX arrival into ZZZ. Received descent clearance; tried to acknowledge; but stuck microphone on frequency. Realized it may be us; confirmed with EICAS message 'radio transmit.' unable to transmit from any captain location; ie hand held; yoke switch; panel switch; tried all with no success; also changed radios cycling through #1; #2; and #3 VHF. Changed frequencys to approach. Nothing worked. First officer tried all 3 radios with various switches his side. Finally cleared when I turned all microphone switches off on #1 console; but still unable to transmit. By this time we decided to squawk 7600 and fly the approach. I ACARS'ed dispatch who was in contact with ATC. We confirmed ILS xx through dispatch/ZZZ tower and landed runway xx without incident.
