Narrative:
IMC and IFR; cleared for ILS runway 08R approach. Briefing included comments by first officer that he had experienced an uncommanded pitch-up at glideslope capture on numerous occasions -- more often than not -- on this approach. Localizer capture was normal; autoplt on; and we were below glideslope on altitude hold at 3000 ft MSL. As glideslope intercept; aircraft pitched hard nose up -- estimate 1.3-1.5 G's -- and began an aggressive climb up away from glideslope. Autoplt did not disconnect; so I disconnected; maneuvered back down onto glideslope; stabilized; and reconnected autoplt with no abnormal indications or maneuvers. Remainder of flight was uneventful until parking at gate. At no time were stabilized approach parameters or limits exceeded. Safety concern is that this phenomenon has occurred on numerous occasions; but is not noted in any commercial chart data; and may not have been reported by other crews. Do not know whether it is airline-specific; but it is not aircraft-specific within the fleet at company.

Title: ACR CAPT REPORTS HARD PITCH-UP AT GLIDESLOPE INTERCEPT ON RWY 08R AT EDDM.
Narrative: IMC AND IFR; CLEARED FOR ILS RWY 08R APPROACH. BRIEFING INCLUDED COMMENTS BY FO THAT HE HAD EXPERIENCED AN UNCOMMANDED PITCH-UP AT GLIDESLOPE CAPTURE ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS -- MORE OFTEN THAN NOT -- ON THIS APPROACH. LOCALIZER CAPTURE WAS NORMAL; AUTOPLT ON; AND WE WERE BELOW GLIDESLOPE ON ALT HOLD AT 3000 FT MSL.
