Narrative:

Cleared to taxi to runway 1L and told to hold short of taxiway D. A single engine aircraft was on final to runway 1R. As we taxied down the taxiway; it curves under the flight path of runway 1R. The aircraft on final passed over our nose and it looked like it would have marginal clearance over our tail if we were farther down the taxiway. This may be an obstacle clearance problem when runways 1R and 1L are in use. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter was contacted to confirm the airport identity. Reporter indicated that they had communicated with the FAA. Reportedly; the FAA indicated that all terps and clearance criteria were in compliance regarding the described operation. The reporter was not satisfied with the FAA's response and believed this was a hazardous situation.
