Narrative:
Tps does not indicate the toda correction. Additionally; the tps indicates intersection takeoffs are available while the toda is shorter. Airport NOTAMS indicate that the runway is shorter due to construction but nowhere does the tps indicate that the takeoff distance accounts for the shorter runway due to construction. Dispatch assured the captain that the tps was correct and took into account the shorter runway; even for an intersection takeoff.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: B767 FLT CREW IS CONCERNED THAT TKOF PERFORMANCE DATA DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR REDUCED RWY LENGTH.
Narrative: TPS DOES NOT INDICATE THE TODA CORRECTION. ADDITIONALLY; THE TPS INDICATES INTXN TKOFS ARE AVAILABLE WHILE THE TODA IS SHORTER. ARPT NOTAMS INDICATE THAT THE RWY IS SHORTER DUE TO CONSTRUCTION BUT NOWHERE DOES THE TPS INDICATE THAT THE TKOF DISTANCE ACCOUNTS FOR THE SHORTER RWY DUE TO CONSTRUCTION. DISPATCH ASSURED THE CAPT THAT THE TPS WAS CORRECT AND TOOK INTO ACCOUNT THE SHORTER RWY; EVEN FOR AN INTXN TKOF.
