Narrative:
Aircraft taken to ZZZ for wiring repair. Multiple wiring problems causing alternators to shut down. Discovered that aircraft wiring harness had been reinstalled by previous owner. Repair shop has been working on fixing. After takeoff; various circuit breakers cycle off limiting navigation; communication and spatial awareness. I put the airplane on autoplt and apparently continued to climb while my attention was distraction elsewhere. Received call from ZZZ asking location and altitude. I was able to hear some transmission prior to communications being lost including navigation and transponder. I recycled several times and circuit breakers would shut off. Without navigation and the confusion I became disoriented as to my location as well as altitude. I attempted to find ZZZ to return and located ZZZ1 by visual. I recycled alternators and had partial communication with ZZZ and landed without incidence. Corrective action: at first sign of loss of electrical power I should have returned to ZZZ when I could still see it. By continuing in-flight I lost my location and wasn't able to find it for several mins. While I thought my electrical problems were repaired I should have flown around the pattern and advised tower prior to takeoff of the potential for reoccurrence of problems.

Title: PA46 PILOT DEPARTS ZZZ AFTER ELECTRICAL REPAIRS AND HAS NUMEROUS ELECTRICAL FAILURES. NAVIGATION IS AFFECTED AND PILOT CANNOT FIND ZZZ; LANDING AT ZZZ1.
Narrative: ACFT TAKEN TO ZZZ FOR WIRING REPAIR. MULTIPLE WIRING PROBS CAUSING ALTERNATORS TO SHUT DOWN. DISCOVERED THAT ACFT WIRING HARNESS HAD BEEN REINSTALLED BY PREVIOUS OWNER. REPAIR SHOP HAS BEEN WORKING ON FIXING. AFTER TKOF; VARIOUS CIRCUIT BREAKERS CYCLE OFF LIMITING NAV; COM AND SPATIAL AWARENESS. I PUT THE AIRPLANE ON AUTOPLT AND APPARENTLY CONTINUED TO CLB WHILE MY ATTN WAS DISTR ELSEWHERE. RECEIVED CALL FROM ZZZ ASKING LOCATION AND ALT. I WAS ABLE TO HEAR SOME XMISSION PRIOR TO COMS BEING LOST INCLUDING NAV AND XPONDER. I RECYCLED SEVERAL TIMES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS WOULD SHUT OFF. WITHOUT NAV AND THE CONFUSION I BECAME DISORIENTED AS TO MY LOCATION AS WELL AS ALT. I ATTEMPTED TO FIND ZZZ TO RETURN AND LOCATED ZZZ1 BY VISUAL. I RECYCLED ALTERNATORS AND HAD PARTIAL COM WITH ZZZ AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENCE. CORRECTIVE ACTION: AT FIRST SIGN OF LOSS OF ELECTRICAL PWR I SHOULD HAVE RETURNED TO ZZZ WHEN I COULD STILL SEE IT. BY CONTINUING INFLT I LOST MY LOCATION AND WASN'T ABLE TO FIND IT FOR SEVERAL MINS. WHILE I THOUGHT MY ELECTRICAL PROBS WERE REPAIRED I SHOULD HAVE FLOWN AROUND THE PATTERN AND ADVISED TWR PRIOR TO TKOF OF THE POTENTIAL FOR REOCCURRENCE OF PROBS.
