Narrative:
We were on approach. First officer called for gear down flaps 30 degrees. Upon selection of gear down we got a nose door open and gear disagree warning message. We advised approach we were going around for a gear problem and need a place to hold to run checklist. Directed to a box pattern southeast of ZZZ. QRH was completed for nose door open. Gear disagree QRH was completed to include manual extension of landing gear at which time we got 3 green down and locked lights. Emergency was declared. Flight attendant was notified; passenger were told of our situation. Operations was notified and confirmed with maintenance control at this time. After gear was down and all checklists completed; returned to and landed at ZZZ. After landing; on rollout steering inoperative caution message came on. Rolled off runway on to a high speed taxiway and stopped aircraft there. Complied with QRH for steering inoperative; which did not clear. Called ZZZ operations to be towed to gate. Called maintenance control again and made logbook entry. Also notified chief pilot's office of event. I would like to add that this was leg 3 of 4; and that we were advised to complete our flight next flight. En route at cruise I told the first officer that I felt drained; exhausted and not quite with the program. (To be responsible for my crew and passenger.) seems we should have been done in ZZZ after our emergency.
