Narrative:

Aircraft swerved to the right on landing; about 50 ft right of centerline. Aircraft was brought back to the centerline after releasing the brakes and using the tiller wheel for nosewheel steering. We were able to exit runway at the next taxiway. I selected #2 brakes; everything seemed normal. We were able to determine that there was no braking on the left brake in #1 brakes. The brake pads would move in conjunction with brake pedal movement but we did not have the green brake pressure light illuminate. At slow speed the left brake would stop the aircraft; but any speed over a crawl; the aircraft would not stop. Maintenance was able to determine that the left antiskid valve was dumping brake pressure. The antiskid valve had a service life time limit of 25 yrs. It could not be determined how far over this time the valve actually was. I think the service life limits should be shortened.

Title: A FALCON F-20 DASSAULT ACFT SWERVED TO THE RIGHT OF CENTERLINE ON LANDING. MAINT DETERMINED THE LEFT ANTI-SKID VALVE WAS DUMPING BRAKE PRESSURE.

Narrative: ACFT SWERVED TO THE R ON LNDG; ABOUT 50 FT R OF CTRLINE. ACFT WAS BROUGHT BACK TO THE CTRLINE AFTER RELEASING THE BRAKES AND USING THE TILLER WHEEL FOR NOSEWHEEL STEERING. WE WERE ABLE TO EXIT RWY AT THE NEXT TXWY. I SELECTED #2 BRAKES; EVERYTHING SEEMED NORMAL. WE WERE ABLE TO DETERMINE THAT THERE WAS NO BRAKING ON THE L BRAKE IN #1 BRAKES. THE BRAKE PADS WOULD MOVE IN CONJUNCTION WITH BRAKE PEDAL MOVEMENT BUT WE DID NOT HAVE THE GREEN BRAKE PRESSURE LIGHT ILLUMINATE. AT SLOW SPD THE L BRAKE WOULD STOP THE ACFT; BUT ANY SPD OVER A CRAWL; THE ACFT WOULD NOT STOP. MAINT WAS ABLE TO DETERMINE THAT THE L ANTISKID VALVE WAS DUMPING BRAKE PRESSURE. THE ANTISKID VALVE HAD A SVC LIFE TIME LIMIT OF 25 YRS. IT COULD NOT BE DETERMINED HOW FAR OVER THIS TIME THE VALVE ACTUALLY WAS. I THINK THE SVC LIFE LIMITS SHOULD BE SHORTENED.
