Narrative:
Inbound to landing MMML while level at 8500 ft; I was overtaken from behind by an medium large transport also on approach to MMML. Passed approximately 200 ft under my aircraft and slightly to the right at high speed; maybe 320 KIAS. Occurred about 35 mi southeast of MMML. I had already checked in with MMML tower at 52 NM east and the tower knew my position. I heard the medium large transport check in with the tower controller; after I checked in; but didn't hear the word 'bonanza' from the controller; so I wasn't sure if he was inbound and if so; if he was informed by the controller that I was ahead of him inbound to the same runway. Then it was quiet -- until after he went by me. Then there was a lot of talk between the pilot and the controller -- all in spanish. Then the controller asked me my position and altitude. I gave him that and then I also reminded him that I had checked in with him at 52 NM out and that he told me to report 20 NM out; which was still approximately 10 NM ahead. He said roger and that was it. If the medium large transport had TCAS; there was no reason for him to pass so close to my aircraft. I had the impression that he was 'buzzing' me.

Title: BE35 AND MLG EXPERIENCE NMAC ON DESCENT TO MMML.
Narrative: INBOUND TO LNDG MMML WHILE LEVEL AT 8500 FT; I WAS OVERTAKEN FROM BEHIND BY AN MLG ALSO ON APCH TO MMML. PASSED APPROX 200 FT UNDER MY ACFT AND SLIGHTLY TO THE R AT HIGH SPD; MAYBE 320 KIAS. OCCURRED ABOUT 35 MI SE OF MMML. I HAD ALREADY CHKED IN WITH MMML TWR AT 52 NM E AND THE TWR KNEW MY POS. I HEARD THE MLG CHK IN WITH THE TWR CTLR; AFTER I CHKED IN; BUT DIDN'T HEAR THE WORD 'BONANZA' FROM THE CTLR; SO I WASN'T SURE IF HE WAS INBOUND AND IF SO; IF HE WAS INFORMED BY THE CTLR THAT I WAS AHEAD OF HIM INBOUND TO THE SAME RWY. THEN IT WAS QUIET -- UNTIL AFTER HE WENT BY ME. THEN THERE WAS A LOT OF TALK BTWN THE PLT AND THE CTLR -- ALL IN SPANISH. THEN THE CTLR ASKED ME MY POS AND ALT. I GAVE HIM THAT AND THEN I ALSO REMINDED HIM THAT I HAD CHKED IN WITH HIM AT 52 NM OUT AND THAT HE TOLD ME TO RPT 20 NM OUT; WHICH WAS STILL APPROX 10 NM AHEAD. HE SAID ROGER AND THAT WAS IT. IF THE MLG HAD TCAS; THERE WAS NO REASON FOR HIM TO PASS SO CLOSE TO MY ACFT. I HAD THE IMPRESSION THAT HE WAS 'BUZZING' ME.
