Narrative:
I diligently installed life vests in both first class and business class using serviceable vests retained from old first class and business class seats. 2; 3 and 4 days later I found the installed vests removed and placed on the seat. Irked and ired; I reinstalled the vests each time. On the 4TH day; I rechked the vests in each seat compartment. By this time the business class seats had been hooked up and were being functionally checked. 10 days later; I was notified by supervisor that aircraft X had departed with some vests missing in business class; position noted in emails; but not related to me. Have engineering callout order revised for signature for each seat for life vest installation. Have the engineering callout order kit include security stickers; so as to prevent tampering/removal by other shift amt or avionics personnel.
