Narrative:
While on an IFR approach to houma; la; in VFR conditions; another aircraft was allowed to fly under us to a VFR landing to the same runway. When we both reported the approximately same point; we broke off the approach to proceed to our VFR landing site at a helicopter pad.

Narrative: WHILE ON AN IFR APCH TO HOUMA; LA; IN VFR CONDITIONS; ANOTHER ACFT WAS ALLOWED TO FLY UNDER US TO A VFR LNDG TO THE SAME RWY. WHEN WE BOTH RPTED THE APPROX SAME POINT; WE BROKE OFF THE APCH TO PROCEED TO OUR VFR LNDG SITE AT A HELI PAD.
