Narrative:
I was taxiing out in atlanta. We were given runway 28 for departure. We turned left on taxiway M; and held short of taxiway D per ground instructions. We were told to monitor tower. Tower then said 'at dixie; cross 27R hold short of 27L.' I repeated back the same; and we proceeded across runway 27R. A B757 was on position and hold for runway 27R; and we were told later had been cleared for takeoff. The captain and I both believe we were cleared to cross runway 27R.
