Narrative:
The hold short intersection of taxiway A1 and runway 5R in mexico city; mexico; is a real gotcha. The taxiway line continues across runway 5R to runway 5L and the hold short markings are minimal. At night; or if one is not fully aware of the situation; it would be very easy to taxi across runway 5R and proceed to runway 5L while traffic is landing; creating a major accident. This ought to be highlighted in the commercial chart pages; and brought to airport officials. It is going to happen sometime if additional signage and warnings are not made. It is just human nature.
