Narrative:
Engine produced from shop as a serviceable engine. In ZZZ a fan change was performed. At that time the mechanic reassembling the engine could not find all the parts required to complete the fan job. He claims the retaining plate was not installed in ZZZ.

Title: MECHANIC REPORTS OF AN ENGINE PRODUCED FROM THE SHOP AS A SERVICEABLE ENGINE WAS FOUND TO HAVE A RETAINING PLATE NOT INSTALLED.
Narrative: ENG PRODUCED FROM SHOP AS A SERVICEABLE ENG. IN ZZZ A FAN CHANGE WAS PERFORMED. AT THAT TIME THE MECH REASSEMBLING THE ENG COULD NOT FIND ALL THE PARTS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE FAN JOB. HE CLAIMS THE RETAINING PLATE WAS NOT INSTALLED IN ZZZ.
