Narrative:
Just after starting my takeoff roll; I passed a snow plow on my right side at about a high taxi speed. I throttled back until I was by him then continued. He was on the edge of the runway. I announced my intentions several times on the CTAF to later find out myself that I was on another transmitter. Just prior to arriving at the airport I called the FSS and asked for NOTAMS at the airport. Nothing was said about snow removal operations. I taxied more than halfway down the runway to make sure it was all clear. I did a 180 and taxied back to the beginning of the runway and started my takeoff roll and within seconds saw the plow. There wasn't any danger of a collision but it surprised us both. I messed up by not ensuring that I was using the correct transmitter when announcing my intentions.
