After departure; crew got a cargo door light. Plane was not pressurizing and following pilot QRH which was to land at nearest suitable airport; aircraft returned to ZZZ without incident. There was no communication until the crew called after they returned. This may have happened due to the time of occurrence right after departure limiting the time for any communication until aircraft landed in the interest of safety of passenger and crew in ZZZ.
