Narrative:

Shortly after takeoff; while in cruise flight; I noticed the oil pressure gauges indicated no oil pressure. I then located a suitable landing field as I felt an off-airport landing would be necessary. Shortly after; the engine stopped developing power and I was unable to climb. I maneuvered the airplane to my intended landing area and executed a power-off/soft-field landing. There were no injuries and no damage was done to the airplane.
