Narrative:
Uret (user request evaluation tool) acl (main form of flight plan information at center sectors) indicated aircraft would be on a route outside of the affected sector's airspace (mxe.V378.balance..adw). Using the route display on the uret showed the aircraft rted direct zizzi..ATR..ott..adw. Mxe is more than 100 mi east of zizzi. Eventually; ZBW had to manually hand off the aircraft to the ZDC controller and confirm the route was direct zizzi; and the ZDC controller entered the correct flight plan. Reporting to confirm unexplained computer anomalies.

Title: ZDC CTLR DESCRIBED; USER REQUEST EVALUATION TOOL (URET); ANOMALY THAT RESULTED IN THE DISPLAY OF INCORRECT ROUTE INFO.
Narrative: URET (USER REQUEST EVALUATION TOOL) ACL (MAIN FORM OF FLT PLAN INFO AT CTR SECTORS) INDICATED ACFT WOULD BE ON A RTE OUTSIDE OF THE AFFECTED SECTOR'S AIRSPACE (MXE.V378.BAL..ADW). USING THE RTE DISPLAY ON THE URET SHOWED THE ACFT RTED DIRECT ZIZZI..ATR..OTT..ADW. MXE IS MORE THAN 100 MI E OF ZIZZI. EVENTUALLY; ZBW HAD TO MANUALLY HAND OFF THE ACFT TO THE ZDC CTLR AND CONFIRM THE RTE WAS DIRECT ZIZZI; AND THE ZDC CTLR ENTERED THE CORRECT FLT PLAN. RPTING TO CONFIRM UNEXPLAINED COMPUTER ANOMALIES.
