Narrative:
1) strong electrical smell. 2) within a min smoke from floor to 3 ft. 3) within seconds; complete cabin in white smoke. 4) I yelled to flight attendant on jetbridge to call fire department. 5) made PA to get other flight attendants off plane. 6) girl at 4L jumped into the catering truck with the 2 catering men. We heard later it was a faulty APU.

Title: B767 FLT ATTENDANT REPORTS STRONG ELECTRICAL SMELL BEFORE CABIN FILLS WITH SMOKE AT GATE WITH NO PAX. FLT ATTENDANTS EVACUATE AND CFR IS CALLED.
Narrative: 1) STRONG ELECTRICAL SMELL. 2) WITHIN A MIN SMOKE FROM FLOOR TO 3 FT. 3) WITHIN SECONDS; COMPLETE CABIN IN WHITE SMOKE. 4) I YELLED TO FLT ATTENDANT ON JETBRIDGE TO CALL FIRE DEPT. 5) MADE PA TO GET OTHER FLT ATTENDANTS OFF PLANE. 6) GIRL AT 4L JUMPED INTO THE CATERING TRUCK WITH THE 2 CATERING MEN.
