Cleared flaps to be lowered and missed the #1 engine thrust reverser being raised. The #4 slat impacted the thrust reverser sleeve on outboard side of #1 engine.

Title: A B737-700 #1 ENG OUTBOARD THRUST REVERSER SLEEVE WAS IMPACTED BY #4 LEADING EDGE SLAT DURING FLAP EXTENSION. MECHANIC DID NOT NOTICE THE REVERSER COWL WAS BEING RAISED.
Narrative: CLRED FLAPS TO BE LOWERED AND MISSED THE #1 ENG THRUST REVERSER BEING RAISED. THE #4 SLAT IMPACTED THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVE ON OUTBOARD SIDE OF #1 ENG.
