Narrative:
I ran out of fuel 5 mi before my airport. I should have been able to fly 5 hours on a fill-up. However; ran out after 4 hours 5 mins. Landed safely on frontage road. Airport brought gas; and local police cleared traffic while we took off again. No damage. No injuries.

Title: AN AA5B MADE A SAFE OFF FIELD LANDING AFTER FUEL STARVATION AT 4 HRS AND 5 MIN. ACFT HAD 5 HRS OF FUEL OF BOARD AT TKOF.
Narrative: I RAN OUT OF FUEL 5 MI BEFORE MY ARPT. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FLY 5 HRS ON A FILL-UP. HOWEVER; RAN OUT AFTER 4 HRS 5 MINS. LANDED SAFELY ON FRONTAGE ROAD. ARPT BROUGHT GAS; AND LCL POLICE CLRED TFC WHILE WE TOOK OFF AGAIN. NO DAMAGE. NO INJURIES.
