Narrative:
At cruise; we received a SELCAL from the dispatch manager advising us of line maintenance callout regarding the landing gear wiring inspection. The dispatch manager advised us that the inspection was not completed on our aircraft prior to our flight. During our brief prior to departure; all paperwork was in order and reviewed by both myself and my first officer. We had a current maintenance release with no open items. After our SELCAL and discussion with my first officer; I advised the senior flight attendant of our conversation with the dispatch manager. We agreed on a cabin advisory and planned the landing accordingly. We landed in ZZZ on runway 35R with autobrakes off and held off manual braking until around 80 KTS. The landing was uneventful and normal taxi to the gate.
