Narrative:
Received EICAS 'message landing gear monitor.' talked to maintenance over ACARS. They indicated might only be a door problem. I chose to err to worst case scenario and called for maintenance to have them meet us on the runway to pin gear after landing. Landed uneventful; stopped on runway; pinned gear; taxied to gate.

Title: B757-200 EICAS MESSAGE; 'LNDG GEAR MONITOR' APPEARED AFTER TKOF. FLT CREW CONTINUED TO DEST. GEAR PINS WERE INSTALLED AFTER LNDG; AND THE ACFT WAS TAXIED TO THE GATE.
Narrative: RECEIVED EICAS 'MESSAGE LNDG GEAR MONITOR.' TALKED TO MAINT OVER ACARS. THEY INDICATED MIGHT ONLY BE A DOOR PROB.
