Narrative:

Approaching phx on the kooly 1 RNAV; ATC gave us a descend via with a leveloff altitude of 11000 ft. Then cleared us direct unila and descend via. We were on profile. I misread altitude at basha to be 6000 ft versus 8000 ft. I realized we would not make basha at 6000 ft. Selected flight level change to increase descent rate. Over basha we were descending through 6300 ft. ATC asked our altitude. We stated 6300 ft. ATC informed us we were below the crossing altitude of 8000 ft at basha. ATC stated the deviation caused no conflict. I believe the event occurred as a result of fatigue. We had a very early report (very early wake-up) with a long duty day of 12 hours. Poor night's sleep prior to the trip start added to the fatigue level.
