Narrative:
Aircraft received clearance from shanwick with some changes to routing. Flight proceeded across atlantic and when entering canadian airspace was asked why it was planning to fly over yfy versus yfb. Was discovered that routing across canada was different than what was on flight plan; a gross navigation error.

Title: DISPATCHER OF WESTBOUND TRANS ATLANTIC B777 REPORTS MISTAKEN VOR/WAYPOINT IN REVISED CANADIAN ROUTE.
Narrative: ACFT RECEIVED CLRNC FROM SHANWICK WITH SOME CHANGES TO ROUTING. FLT PROCEEDED ACROSS ATLANTIC AND WHEN ENTERING CANADIAN AIRSPACE WAS ASKED WHY IT WAS PLANNING TO FLY OVER YFY VERSUS YFB. WAS DISCOVERED THAT ROUTING ACROSS CANADA WAS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT WAS ON FLT PLAN; A GROSS NAV ERROR.
