Narrative:
Worked on aircraft X; changed rod end per task card (remove and replace main landing gear actuator rod end). The next day when on shift; I remembered that no one had added grease to 'zurk' fitting on new rod end. Looked over task card; found out that task card did not address doing that procedure. Boxes for that task card did not direct you to amm to lube the rod end. I had experience in changing out whole retract actuator assembly; and we always performed lube. The task card for just replacing rod end should have this procedure included.
