Narrative:
On takeoff; power was set to flex. Both engines came up normal then right engine flashed egt at 495 then EPR rolled back towards 1.76. We aborted and returned to the gate.

Title: MD80 REJECTS TKOF WHEN RIGHT ENG RISES ABOVE LIMITS; FOLLOWED BY EPR ROLLBACK.
Narrative: ON TKOF; PWR WAS SET TO FLEX. BOTH ENGS CAME UP NORMAL THEN R ENG FLASHED EGT AT 495 THEN EPR ROLLED BACK TOWARDS 1.76. WE ABORTED AND RETURNED TO THE GATE.
