Narrative:
Briefer listed NOTAM for 'air show' for up to 3000 ft and a 2 mile area. All given was 'helicopter' rides by them. Area is active corridor for sightseeing activities; security (military) aircraft; and others. Vectors from ZZZ were a 360 degree heading and basically would have precluded entire city; harbor; etc; as given. At time only activity was helicopter aircraft giving rides. Helicopter was in sight; no conflict was indicated; more information should have been given from not only ATC; but from FSS briefer because aerobatics were also involved later. While the aerobatics was listed in local newspaper; I feel ATC and briefer should have been informed also. There was no conflict; but more information would have helped all concerned. If a private entity; or others request and are given special airspace consideration; it should list all specifics; times; and activities. Also; this NOTAM was allowed for a 4 hour period each day for 3 consecutive days!

Title: C172 PLT FEELS NOTAM REGARDING AIR SHOW ACTIVITY WAS NOT COMPREHENSIVE; INADEQUATELY DISSEMINATED AND POORLY BRIEFED.
Narrative: BRIEFER LISTED NOTAM FOR 'AIR SHOW' FOR UP TO 3000 FT AND A 2 MILE AREA. ALL GIVEN WAS 'HELI' RIDES BY THEM. AREA IS ACTIVE CORRIDOR FOR SIGHTSEEING ACTIVITIES; SECURITY (MIL) ACFT; AND OTHERS. VECTORS FROM ZZZ WERE A 360 DEG HDG AND BASICALLY WOULD HAVE PRECLUDED ENTIRE CITY; HARBOR; ETC; AS GIVEN. AT TIME ONLY ACTIVITY WAS HELI ACFT GIVING RIDES. HELI WAS IN SIGHT; NO CONFLICT WAS INDICATED; MORE INFO SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN FROM NOT ONLY ATC; BUT FROM FSS BRIEFER BECAUSE AEROBATICS WERE ALSO INVOLVED LATER. WHILE THE AEROBATICS WAS LISTED IN LOCAL NEWSPAPER; I FEEL ATC AND BRIEFER SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED ALSO. THERE WAS NO CONFLICT; BUT MORE INFO WOULD HAVE HELPED ALL CONCERNED.
