Narrative:
First officer found nose gear strut flat on walkaround. Maintenance was advised and strut was svced. First officer was PF. Normal taxi out and takeoff. On gear retraction; nose gear door not closed was displayed. Maintained 190 KTS and flaps 1+F confign. Cycled gear per ECAM but nose gear door remained not closed. Made decision to return to sea. Sent message to dispatch and briefed flight attendants and passenger. The approach to runway 16C was normal with gear down and locked. On final; we noticed nosewheel steering displayed in amber on the wheel page. We told tower that we may not be able to clear the runway on rollout. Landing was normal until slow speed and we tried steering inputs. Captain took control and used differential braking to clear the runway at a highspd and stopped. We informed tower we could not taxi and would need a tow to the gate. Shut engines down and maintenance towed us in.

Title: A320 MUST RETURN TO DEP ARPT WHEN NOSE GEAR DOORS FAIL TO CLOSE. NOSE GEAR STRUT HAD BEEN SERVICED BY MAINT IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO DEP.
Narrative: FO FOUND NOSE GEAR STRUT FLAT ON WALKAROUND. MAINT WAS ADVISED AND STRUT WAS SVCED. FO WAS PF. NORMAL TAXI OUT AND TKOF. ON GEAR RETRACTION; NOSE GEAR DOOR NOT CLOSED WAS DISPLAYED. MAINTAINED 190 KTS AND FLAPS 1+F CONFIGN. CYCLED GEAR PER ECAM BUT NOSE GEAR DOOR REMAINED NOT CLOSED. MADE DECISION TO RETURN TO SEA. SENT MESSAGE TO DISPATCH AND BRIEFED FLT ATTENDANTS AND PAX. THE APCH TO RWY 16C WAS NORMAL WITH GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED. ON FINAL; WE NOTICED NOSEWHEEL STEERING DISPLAYED IN AMBER ON THE WHEEL PAGE. WE TOLD TWR THAT WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO CLR THE RWY ON ROLLOUT. LNDG WAS NORMAL UNTIL SLOW SPD AND WE TRIED STEERING INPUTS. CAPT TOOK CTL AND USED DIFFERENTIAL BRAKING TO CLR THE RWY AT A HIGHSPD AND STOPPED. WE INFORMED TWR WE COULD NOT TAXI AND WOULD NEED A TOW TO THE GATE. SHUT ENGS DOWN AND MAINT TOWED US IN.
