Narrative:
We arrived in dal from ZZZ and had planned based on what dispatch had told us before we left ZZZ; to shutdown there. We had arranged a sedan to pick us up about 45 mins after arrival time. After we had gotten the owners on their way we began to clean the airplane up and get it ready to put away. I went inside and asked for any faxes at the desk and they said there were none. I had sent my times into dispatch and was waiting to hear from them. Then I received an e-mail from a separate service I subscribe to; that a flight plan to ads had been filed for our tail number. Not having been contacted at this point by dispatch either through the phone or facsimile; I went back inside and found the flight plan was arriving over the facsimile as I was walking in; I called dispatch to verify we were going to ads. They said; 'yes.' I went back out to the airplane told the first officer and he said he needed to go inside to use the restroom. While he was inside I calculated our takeoff weight and center of gravity. When he returned he closed the door and we both climbed into the seats. After startup and taxi; we told the tower we were ready for takeoff. We rolled onto runway 13L and finished the before takeoff checklist. First officer announced 'power set' 'apr armed.' then a split second later announced 'no airspeed.' at that point I called for an abort and pulled the thrust levers to idle; extended the spoilers; while applying brakes. We told the tower we were aborting and that we would like to taxi off the runway and evaluate the situation. They asked if we needed assistance and we said no. At this point we knew exactly why we had no airspeed; because we had left both pitot covers on. The first officer had put them on in anticipation that we were finishing up in dal. We checked the brake energy chart and we were below the limit. About 20 mins elapsed between the aborted takeoff and our attempt of another takeoff after removing the pitot covers. There were several factors that played a role in this. We both were tired and we were in the mindset that we were finishing our trip at dal. Dispatch didn't notify us as timely as they could have about repositioning to ads. Additionally we were dealing with several small fires to put out; like rearranging the sedan with a driver who had already shown up early and to go over to ads and set another 40 mins beyond the scheduled time until we would be ready. Both the first officer and I preparing the plane for shutdown before we were actually closed out played a part. My own lack of vigilance at checking completely around the airplane before we started up to taxi. I usually always do a quick walkaround the airplane prior to departing; which I didn't do this time. We were both in the 'we're done' mode and we both didn't take a step back and rearrange our thought process for the upcoming flight -- no excuse for this no matter how quick the flight was.

Title: DISTRACTED BY A LAST MINUTE REASSIGNMENT; FLT CREW OF LR60 REJECTS TKOF DUE TO LACK OF IAS. PITOT COVERS HAD BEEN INSTALLED AND NOT REMOVED.
Narrative: WE ARRIVED IN DAL FROM ZZZ AND HAD PLANNED BASED ON WHAT DISPATCH HAD TOLD US BEFORE WE LEFT ZZZ; TO SHUTDOWN THERE. WE HAD ARRANGED A SEDAN TO PICK US UP ABOUT 45 MINS AFTER ARR TIME. THEN I RECEIVED AN E-MAIL FROM A SEPARATE SVC I SUBSCRIBE TO; THAT A FLT PLAN TO ADS HAD BEEN FILED FOR OUR TAIL NUMBER. NOT HAVING BEEN CONTACTED AT THIS POINT BY DISPATCH EITHER THROUGH THE PHONE OR FAX; I WENT BACK INSIDE AND FOUND THE FLT PLAN WAS ARRIVING OVER THE FAX AS I WAS WALKING IN; I CALLED DISPATCH TO VERIFY WE WERE GOING TO ADS. THEY SAID; 'YES.' I WENT BACK OUT TO THE AIRPLANE TOLD THE FO AND HE SAID HE NEEDED TO GO INSIDE TO USE THE RESTROOM. WHILE HE WAS INSIDE I CALCULATED OUR TKOF WT AND CTR OF GRAVITY. WHEN HE RETURNED HE CLOSED THE DOOR AND WE BOTH CLBED INTO THE SEATS. AFTER STARTUP AND TAXI; WE TOLD THE TWR WE WERE READY FOR TKOF. WE ROLLED ONTO RWY 13L AND FINISHED THE BEFORE TKOF CHKLIST. FO ANNOUNCED 'PWR SET' 'APR ARMED.' THEN A SPLIT SECOND LATER ANNOUNCED 'NO AIRSPD.' AT THAT POINT I CALLED FOR AN ABORT AND PULLED THE THRUST LEVERS TO IDLE; EXTENDED THE SPOILERS; WHILE APPLYING BRAKES. WE TOLD THE TWR WE WERE ABORTING AND THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO TAXI OFF THE RWY AND EVAL THE SIT. THEY ASKED IF WE NEEDED ASSISTANCE AND WE SAID NO. AT THIS POINT WE KNEW EXACTLY WHY WE HAD NO AIRSPD; BECAUSE WE HAD LEFT BOTH PITOT COVERS ON. THE FO HAD PUT THEM ON IN ANTICIPATION THAT WE WERE FINISHING UP IN DAL. WE CHKED THE BRAKE ENERGY CHART AND WE WERE BELOW THE LIMIT. ABOUT 20 MINS ELAPSED BTWN THE ABORTED TKOF AND OUR ATTEMPT OF ANOTHER TKOF AFTER REMOVING THE PITOT COVERS. BOTH THE FO AND I PREPARING THE PLANE FOR SHUTDOWN BEFORE WE WERE ACTUALLY CLOSED OUT PLAYED A PART. MY OWN LACK OF VIGILANCE AT CHKING COMPLETELY AROUND THE AIRPLANE BEFORE WE STARTED UP TO TAXI. I USUALLY ALWAYS DO A QUICK WALKAROUND THE AIRPLANE PRIOR TO DEPARTING; WHICH I DIDN'T DO THIS TIME. WE WERE BOTH IN THE 'WE'RE DONE' MODE AND WE BOTH DIDN'T TAKE A STEP BACK AND REARRANGE OUR THOUGHT PROCESS FOR THE UPCOMING FLT -- NO EXCUSE FOR THIS NO MATTER HOW QUICK THE FLT WAS.
