Narrative:
Turning off the runway at the end after landing brake failed. Narrowly missed ground crews standing by as well as other aircraft stopped or parked nearby. German manufactured plane; us brake (cleveland); german motorcycle master cylinder. Recommend schempp-hirth contact cleveland or find other source for master cylinder. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated he has since replaced the brake disc; piston and installed (resealed) the master brake cylinder with new seals. Reporter stated one of the ground crew workers stopped the glider by grabbing onto the wing.

Title: PILOT FLYING A GERMAN SCHEMPP-HIRTH GLIDER; NARROWLY MISSED GROUND CREWS AND OTHER ACFT WHILE TURNING OFF THE RUNWAY WHEN HIS MASTER CYLINDER FOR THE LANDING BRAKE FAILED.
Narrative: TURNING OFF THE RWY AT THE END AFTER LNDG BRAKE FAILED. NARROWLY MISSED GND CREWS STANDING BY AS WELL AS OTHER ACFT STOPPED OR PARKED NEARBY. GERMAN MANUFACTURED PLANE; US BRAKE (CLEVELAND); GERMAN MOTORCYCLE MASTER CYLINDER. RECOMMEND SCHEMPP-HIRTH CONTACT CLEVELAND OR FIND OTHER SOURCE FOR MASTER CYLINDER. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: REPORTER STATED HE HAS SINCE REPLACED THE BRAKE DISC; PISTON AND INSTALLED (RESEALED) THE MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER WITH NEW SEALS.
