Narrative:
Was on the teb 5 departure climb to 1500 ft turn to 280 degrees at 4.5 DME climb to 2000 ft. Overshoot of 150 ft above just prior to 4.5 DME. No conflict. Descended to 1500 ft and was assigned 10000 ft. 1) we showed 4.5 DME. 2) confusion about SID. 3) first officer reported we were in the climb and 2000 ft when we were at 1600 ft. 4) with the turbulence we bounced to 1500 ft plus and ATC told us to descend to 1500 ft and we complied. 5) cew communications. 6) SID should have a hard altitude of 1500 ft.
