Narrative:
A320 on takeoff from ZZZ on runway 18R; just after lift-off; got egt overtemp warning on right engine. Had to reduce thrust to bring within limits. This aircraft has had 3 overtemps of right engine on takeoff in the last week and has had 14 overtemps of the right engine since it has been on the wing. This engine will not make rated thrust without overtemping. Maintenance control says that it will stay on the wing until it has overtemped 19 times; then it will be placed on a smaller 319 aircraft.
