Narrative:
I installed a bonding strap on aircraft aft drain. I was thinking about this installation yesterday upon hearing a news story about keeping airplanes safe on the ground. While thinking about this news story; I realized I did not use a bonding brush on the new strap mounting hole. I had crawled out to get my bonding brush out of my tool box when I was asked a question by a co-worker. I answered the question and crawled back into the plane to finish the installation without getting my bonding brush. I obviously didn't test with the meter correctly for resistance on the strap. If I had done the resistance test correctly; I would have found my lack of bond brushing the hole for a proper ground.
