Narrative:
After aircraft was parked and checklist completed I stepped into the galley to say goodbye to the passenger. I then saw what appeared to be the jetbridge moving. I quickly determined it was the aircraft; not the jetbridge. I noticed the parking brake was set. I then jumped into the captain's seat and tried various procedures to stop the aircraft with no success. The aircraft stopped on the ramp by itself. Then maintenance towed the aircraft back to the gate. The captain reboarded and wrote up the brake failure.
