Narrative:
I was conducting a preflight on aircraft X; which arrived into ZZZ1 at gate B5 from a ferry flight from ZZZ2. After walking around; I noticed that everything was in good condition for our flight to ZZZ3. The C3 cargo door was closed during this preflight and did not think anything of it. The load closeout even dictated that C3 had no cargo in it. Upon arriving to ZZZ3; I disembarked the aircraft to do my postflt-preflight walkaround for our turn back to ZZZ1. It was during this postflt-preflight inspection that I noticed the C3 cargo door was opened and I looked around inside to make sure nothing was out of the ordinary. It was during this inspection that I noticed ballast from the ferry flight of aircraft X was still on board. I immediately notified captain and he notified the ramp crew of the situation. The crew immediately unloaded the ballast. This event occurred because of an oversight on the part of the ramp crew.

THE CREW IMMEDIATELY UNLOADED THE BALLAST. THIS EVENT OCCURRED BECAUSE OF AN OVERSIGHT ON THE PART OF THE RAMP CREW.
