Narrative:
Missed a NOTAM on the paperwork that indicated that lga VOR and peths were OTS and therefore the single engine procedure could not have been accomplished if needed. The NOTAM was buried in a ton of NOTAMS; but I did indeed miss it.

Title: A CAPT MISSED THE NOTAM PROC AFFECTING HIS DEP PLANNING.
Narrative: MISSED A NOTAM ON THE PAPERWORK THAT INDICATED THAT LGA VOR AND PETHS WERE OTS AND THEREFORE THE SINGLE ENGINE PROC COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ACCOMPLISHED IF NEEDED. THE NOTAM WAS BURIED IN A TON OF NOTAMS; BUT I DID INDEED MISS IT.
