Narrative:
At hope; ar airport (M18); on two dates; encountered loose rock and concrete debris on ramp and taxiway. Debris ranged from pea size to greater than one inch. Debris is difficult to see. Noted ramp; txwys and runways are marginal for aircraft operations. Some dangerous areas are outlined; poor visibility; red paint. Major damage and debris noted at junction of ramp and 16/34 taxiway. Debris appears to be result of poor cement repair work and lack of maintenance on humps; holes; trench repair work; and general deterioration of ramp; txwys; and runways. To prevent damage to aircraft; suggest airport be closed until conditions are deemed to be safe by FAA.

Title: M18 RAMP AND RWY SURFACES REPORTED TO BE DETERIORATING AND POSING A POTENTIAL DAMAGE THREAT TO ACFT FROM THE DECAYING SURFACE DEBRIS.
Narrative: AT HOPE; AR AIRPORT (M18); ON TWO DATES; ENCOUNTERED LOOSE ROCK AND CONCRETE DEBRIS ON RAMP AND TXWY. DEBRIS RANGED FROM PEA SIZE TO GREATER THAN ONE INCH. DEBRIS IS DIFFICULT TO SEE. NOTED RAMP; TXWYS AND RWYS ARE MARGINAL FOR ACFT OPS. SOME DANGEROUS AREAS ARE OUTLINED; POOR VISIBILITY; RED PAINT. MAJOR DAMAGE AND DEBRIS NOTED AT JUNCTION OF RAMP AND 16/34 TXWY. DEBRIS APPEARS TO BE RESULT OF POOR CEMENT REPAIR WORK AND LACK OF MAINT ON HUMPS; HOLES; TRENCH REPAIR WORK; AND GENERAL DETERIORATION OF RAMP; TXWYS; AND RWYS. TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO ACFT; SUGGEST ARPT BE CLOSED UNTIL CONDITIONS ARE DEEMED TO BE SAFE BY FAA.
