Narrative:
I was preparing to depart for st louis downtown (cps) for refuel (approximately 6 mi) and was unable to pick up ATIS or tower on the pad. I rechked both the facility directory and the sectional; both of which were current; and confirmed all frequencys matched. I re-tried all frequencys in the air with no contact. I made calls on published CTAF; then proceeded inbound from the west and entered a modified right base for taxiway a; landing to the west without incident. When I entered the FBO; my crew informed me that all frequencys had changed. I then called the tower to apologize for my ignorance and ask if there had been a NOTAM published advising the change. Tower operator did not act concerned or ask me my name or tail number. I then confirmed with the tower operator that I had all the new frequencys written correctly. I departed 15 mins later with no issues. An item of note: the st louis sectional is dated after the NOTAM announcing the frequencys changes for st louis downtown and I wrongly assumed that the new frequencys had been incorporated into the new sectional.

Title: HELI PLT LANDS AT CPS WITHOUT CONTACTING TOWER DUE TO USE OF OUT OF DATE COM FREQUENCIES.
Narrative: I WAS PREPARING TO DEPART FOR ST LOUIS DOWNTOWN (CPS) FOR REFUEL (APPROX 6 MI) AND WAS UNABLE TO PICK UP ATIS OR TWR ON THE PAD. I RECHKED BOTH THE FACILITY DIRECTORY AND THE SECTIONAL; BOTH OF WHICH WERE CURRENT; AND CONFIRMED ALL FREQS MATCHED. I RE-TRIED ALL FREQS IN THE AIR WITH NO CONTACT. I MADE CALLS ON PUBLISHED CTAF; THEN PROCEEDED INBOUND FROM THE W AND ENTERED A MODIFIED R BASE FOR TXWY A; LNDG TO THE W WITHOUT INCIDENT. WHEN I ENTERED THE FBO; MY CREW INFORMED ME THAT ALL FREQS HAD CHANGED. I THEN CALLED THE TWR TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY IGNORANCE AND ASK IF THERE HAD BEEN A NOTAM PUBLISHED ADVISING THE CHANGE. TWR OPERATOR DID NOT ACT CONCERNED OR ASK ME MY NAME OR TAIL NUMBER. I THEN CONFIRMED WITH THE TWR OPERATOR THAT I HAD ALL THE NEW FREQS WRITTEN CORRECTLY. I DEPARTED 15 MINS LATER WITH NO ISSUES. AN ITEM OF NOTE: THE ST LOUIS SECTIONAL IS DATED AFTER THE NOTAM ANNOUNCING THE FREQS CHANGES FOR ST LOUIS DOWNTOWN AND I WRONGLY ASSUMED THAT THE NEW FREQS HAD BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THE NEW SECTIONAL.
