Narrative:

At XA32; I called taxi to runway on CTAF. I was parked facing southwest on a crowded ramp near the departure end of xx. As I was taxiing along at approximately 4-5 mph; a commander (unknown n-number) called taxi and started to exit his parking spot in front of my aircraft. He rolled forward about 2 ft and stopped when he saw my aircraft. I instinctively mashed on the brakes but apparently pushed on the left rudder as my wingtip leading edge landing light made contact with a parked aircraft. This contact broke the plexiglas leading edge cover and made a small dent in my leading edge. No damage was done to the parked saratoga except some scratches on the spinner. Contributing factors: 1) poor radio reception on the departure end of runway xx; making contact with clearance at times unreadable. I was trying to get my squawk at the time of the incident also. I had received the clearance but was unable to discern the squawk due to interference. I was monitoring the CTAF on the second radio (distraction). 2) get homeitis on the part of all aircraft trying to depart that morning. 3) failure to maintain the centerline on the taxiway. 4) crowded ramp.

Title: PA28 STRIKES PA32 WHILE TAXIING AT NON-TOWERED ARPT.

Narrative: AT XA32; I CALLED TAXI TO RWY ON CTAF. I WAS PARKED FACING SW ON A CROWDED RAMP NEAR THE DEP END OF XX. AS I WAS TAXIING ALONG AT APPROX 4-5 MPH; A COMMANDER (UNKNOWN N-NUMBER) CALLED TAXI AND STARTED TO EXIT HIS PARKING SPOT IN FRONT OF MY ACFT. HE ROLLED FORWARD ABOUT 2 FT AND STOPPED WHEN HE SAW MY ACFT. I INSTINCTIVELY MASHED ON THE BRAKES BUT APPARENTLY PUSHED ON THE L RUDDER AS MY WINGTIP LEADING EDGE LNDG LIGHT MADE CONTACT WITH A PARKED ACFT. THIS CONTACT BROKE THE PLEXIGLAS LEADING EDGE COVER AND MADE A SMALL DENT IN MY LEADING EDGE. NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE PARKED SARATOGA EXCEPT SOME SCRATCHES ON THE SPINNER. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: 1) POOR RADIO RECEPTION ON THE DEP END OF RWY XX; MAKING CONTACT WITH CLRNC AT TIMES UNREADABLE. I WAS TRYING TO GET MY SQUAWK AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT ALSO. I HAD RECEIVED THE CLRNC BUT WAS UNABLE TO DISCERN THE SQUAWK DUE TO INTERFERENCE. I WAS MONITORING THE CTAF ON THE SECOND RADIO (DISTR). 2) GET HOMEITIS ON THE PART OF ALL ACFT TRYING TO DEPART THAT MORNING. 3) FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CTRLINE ON THE TXWY. 4) CROWDED RAMP.
