Narrative:
We received an IFR clearance to depart teb; which included a teb 5 standard instrument departure (SID). We reviewed the departure route description prior to departure; which consists of a climb on the runway heading until reaching 1500 ft; then turn right to a heading of 280 degrees. After passing teb 4.5 DME; climb to 2000 ft. We had also been advised to expect radar vectors to solberg (sbj). After takeoff we intended to fly the above-described departure; however; the controller said that he showed me too high; and directed me to descend and begin a right turn; and we complied with the controller's instructions.
