Flying the boach 2 SID from las to san; first officer found that he had loaded sna as a final destination in the FMC. Around hector; ZLA questioned our route; then gave us direct psp direct baret for the BARET4 arrival into san. Check the route page in the FMC prior to departure. Easy to overlook error. 2 southern california cities very similar city codes; same SID.
