Narrative:
At 85 KTS on takeoff roll left generator drive light came on EICAS. First officer was flying and takeoff roll was continued normally. After passing 2000 ft; first officer took over radio duties and put autoplt on. I followed the checklist which said to disconnect the generator and turn the APU on. We continued to ZZZ; notified maintenance control and dispatch. The rest of the flight was uneventful.
