Narrative:
After arrival lax gate xx; we waited a long time for contract ground service crew to arrive with mobile stairs to unload the aircraft. When they did arrive; the 2 contract ground service crew started pushing the stairs toward the aircraft. Once they got it moving at a high rate of speed; they let go of the stairs and willfully let the stairs hit the aircraft at the L-1 door area. The other contract ground service personnel witnessed the act and started laughing and giving each other high fives. I called lax operations to have a contract ground service supervisor and air carrier supervisor come out. The contract ground service supervisor kept saying 'they would not do that.' he said he wanted me to do a line-up and talk to me but the aircraft was totally unloaded and I had to go to the international terminal to clear united stated customs. I wrote the possible damage in the maintenance logbook and called the service coordinator in ZZZ to give him my firsthand account of what took place.
