Narrative:
After parking aircraft at gate it was later reported that we, the crew, had left the right engine running. This situation was found by maintenance after we had departed the area by 15 or 20 mins. The checklist was followed for shutdown. I find this very difficult to believe since the first officer and myself went to the belly baggage area before departing the aircraft.
